Artwork along the Seine?

Hi,

I am returning to Paris on Monday, and have always wanted to buy a real painting in Paris.
Preferably, I'd like to spend less than 150 Euros... so that limits me quite a bit.
What do you think about the artists that line up along the Seine?
Would this be a decent place to shop?
Please help.
